Opihi Syndicate
Opihi is the name given to the junior syndicate at Grantlea Downs. The syndicate is made up of Rooms 1-4, catering for students from New Entrants to Year 2. The syndicate is led by Associate Principal Carmen Brown who teaches New Entrants and Year 1s in Room 1. In Room 2 Raewyn Guise also teaches New Entrants and Year 1s. Room 3 is a class of Year 1s and 2s, taught by Karen Parker. Room 4 consists of Year 2s, taught by Karin Cartwright.
Waipopo Syndicate
The Waipopo syndicate caters for Year 2 to 4 students in Rooms 5 and 6. Waipopo is led by Assistant Principal Allison Ford with Mike Keys and in Room 5, Tina Ivamy
Acacia Syndicate
Rooms 7, 8 and 9 form the Acacia syndicate. This syndicate, catering for Year 4 to 6 students, is led by Amy Clode in Room 8, Carly Race in Room 9 and Hayley McIntyre in Room 7
Kereta Syndicate
Kereta, our senior syndicate, caters for Year 6 to 8 students. Kereta is led by Deputy Principal Bernie Leonard in Room 11, Mike de Joux in Room 12 and Angie King in Room 10
