At Grantlea Downs we welcome international students from all over the globe. We believe that these students enhance our school, and in turn international students benefit from our supportive and inclusive culture. We dedicate both teacher and teacher aide time to supporting new students to transition to a new language and culture, and then throughout their stay with us.

At Grantlea Downs we support and adhere to the Code of Practice for the pastoral care of international students set out by the New Zealand Ministry of Education. The Ministry also provides other resources for international students.
