Our House System

Every student at our school belongs to one of our four houses. These houses foster a sense of belonging, healthy competition, and leadership across all year levels.

Meet the Houses

Our houses are proudly named after the community streets surrounding our school grounds:

• Jellicoe – Green
• Evans – Yellow
• Grant – Red

The Race for the House Shield

Throughout the year, students compete in a variety of inter-house events to earn points. From athletic prowess to teamwork, there are many ways to contribute.

Key Events include:

• School Triathlon
• Top Teams Challenges
• Cross Country
• Inter-house Sports Competitions

Earning Points through Positive Behaviour: Beyond sports, students can earn Keko cards by demonstrating school values and positive behaviour. These cards are a vital part of our house competition, ensuring every student can contribute to their team's success.

Awards: At the end of every term, the house with the most accumulated points is awarded the prestigious House Shield.

Our house system is designed to celebrate more than just winning; it’s about character and guidance:

• Student Leadership:  Each house is guided by two dedicated House Leaders who coordinate events and inspire their peers.
• Inclusive Participation:  Whether on the sports field or showing kindness in the classroom, every action counts toward your house's legacy!
